UNIT 9: ALWAYS LATE

Tempus Fugit: Times Flies

This art exhibit at the Nelson-Atkins museum looks at art and time together. It shows that different cultures and different eras think of time differently.

Activity: How do you think of time? Find one work of art that shows how you think of time. If you can, compare with a friend or classmate. Which work of art did they choose? Why?

What Makes People Late?

This short article describes a few common reasons why some people are always late. It also gives tips on how to stop being late.

Activity: Think of someone you know who is always late. Look at the three kinds of lateness in the article. Which one fits them best? If none do, think of a name for their kind of lateness.
