Israel is known for its response to terrorism. One of the most famous routs of terrorists who hijacked an airplane was Israel's rescue of hostages in Entebbe, Uganda, in 1976. Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Netanyahu, brother of the former prime minister of Israel, was killed in this operation. The series of pages details the Israeli operation.
